Sui liquid staking Hacker project overview

The Sui liquid staking hackathon has completed more than 40 days of registration and selection, and the final shortlist has been announced. Six teams from each track have successfully advanced to the Demo Day stage. Let's take a look at these outstanding projects.

Shortlisted Projects

1. Aftermath Finance (LSD) A one-stop decentralized trading platform that offers CLOB settlement for spot, perpetual contracts, and options, CMMM for long-tail assets and indices, as well as built-in money market features.

2. DegenHive Combining the innovative governance model of centralized liquidity DEX and NFT, dedicated to unleashing the potential of $SUI on the Sui network.

3. Haedal Protocol Based on the Sui liquid staking protocol, users can stake $SUI to obtain haSUI, which allows them to participate in ecological governance and continue engaging in DeFi activities to earn additional rewards.

4. Interest Protocol DeFi protocols support exchange and lending, liquidity providers can use LP tokens as collateral to borrow Sui Dollar stablecoins, offsetting impermanent loss.

5. SUISA DeFi protocol allows staking $SUI to obtain stSUI, and stSUI can also be used to mint NFTs.

6. Volo Liquid staking solution, helping users maximize the utility and liquidity of SUI through voloSUI.

2. Bucket Protocol The CDP protocol, characterized by being non-custodial, immutable, and governance-free, allows users to exchange the required tokens at zero interest by using $SUI, $BTC, $ETH, and LST as collateral.

3. Desig A multi-signature solution applicable across the entire blockchain, compatible with all DApps on both EVM and non-EVM chains.

4. Kana Labs User-friendly applications aimed at DeFi and GameFi.

5. Legato Provide fixed interest rate solutions for liquid staking assets and predict the interest rate fluctuations on Sui for the past year.

6. Wisp Swap A decentralized trading and prediction market, featuring an asymmetric centralized liquidity DEX with automatically adjustable parameters.

Demo Day Schedule

• Time: September 29, 12:00 - 15:00 (GMT+8)
• Format: Live streaming on the official Sui YouTube channel via StreamYard
• Process:
  • Competing teams: Each team has 10 minutes (5 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A)
  • Sponsors: Alibaba Cloud, MoveBit, OtterSec

Review Criteria

• The jury is selected by the Sui Foundation and partners from hackathon collaborators, sponsors, and ecosystem projects.
• The score is based on preset criteria, and the average is taken after removing the highest and lowest scores.
• The standardized average score will be used to determine the winners of each award.
• The results of the competition will be announced on October 2.
