Solana and Jito executives have been labeled as "conspirators" and are accused of participating in the illegal operation of a Memecoin platform.
According to Jincai Finance, law firms Burwick Law and Wolf Popper have expanded their lawsuit against the Memecoin platform Pump.fun, listing the Solana Foundation, Solana Labs, Jito Labs, and several of their executives as "co-conspirators." They are accused of illegal gambling, wire fraud, securities fraud, intellectual property theft, and unlicensed money transmission. The complaint claims that this platform is suspected of operating a "casino-like" system that facilitates money laundering, terrorist financing, and sex trafficking, and is also accused of assisting the North Korean hacking group Lazarus in laundering $1.5 billion. Solana and Jito have not yet responded. The plaintiffs are seeking accountability from all organizations and individuals involved in the "illegal encryption casino scheme."
