This is all you need to know.
I'm getting a lot of questions about how to sell/when to sell.
Using this technique takes out the guess-work and enables you to maximise your gains.
And it is so simple.
> DCA in & DCA out
Firstly, there are two very important rules you NEED to understand and accept.
1: You will never time the bottom or the top
2: Buying and selling usually comes with pain
Most people fail to pull the trigger on buying because they are scared it will go lower.
The same applies for selling, just in reverse.
This fear creates a paralysis which leads to inaction, and missing the best times to buy and sell.
Leading to FOMO buying and FOMO selling after the fact... which will get you completely rekt.
DCA'ng into your bags and DCA'ng out completely removes this problem and takes the emotion out of it.
You have to accept that when you buy, it will probably drop lower.
And when you sell, it will probably go higher.
So if you clip your whole bag in and out in one go... this is problematic.
You're now down 20% on your buy, panicking it will go lower... and you sell it at a loss.
Or you sold and it pumped 20%, and you're sweating you sold too early... and FOMO back in higher.
Then it pumps/dumps
= Pain.
This happens because this has now become an emotional decision.
The FOMO.
DCA fixes this entirely.
If you buy gradually it does not matter if it goes down... you just buy again.
That is the whole idea.
Building your position over time as the price fluctuates.
The same applies for selling.
If you clip 10% at key levels for you...
3x, 5x, 7x, 10x, etc etc...
You do not care if it goes higher, and you are very happy about the continued increased gains.
Then, once you feel the end of the bull approaching/your bags pumping very hard and being up 50x, you can clip 50% of your bag.
From here, see how things progress and if it keeps sending, no worries.
You have half your bag left still, and you have been selling gradually all the way up.
At some point though you will need to clip 80%, leaving a moon bag.
This can be the hardest part, as the right time to do this will feel like the worst time to do it as the euphoria will be so high.
But we just have to do our best here and watch for the metrics.
If we enter the bear market at this point, no worries.
the 20% you held in has only gone down 25% and you can fully now fully exit.
This is a worthy amount to hold onto to confirm the run is over.
"But Syko... how do i know when to start selling and when the market is over?"
Start selling at either:
-Key levels(number of X's you are happy with)
-Once ETH breaks ATH
Then sell gradually as we pump.
Drown out the FOMO
Stick to selling at your levels(number of X's)
And remember the bull will not last
Start shaving off profits at your levels(X's), or start when ETH breaks into new highs.
Getting into the routine of actually selling is critical.
Otherwise you will just hold on to infinity and never sell anything.
DCA all day.
It's actually very simple.
