I’ve been thinking a lot about the rise of eVTOLs and drones lately. It’s exciting, but also a bit scary when you realise how crowded the skies are about to get.
In my opinion, if we don’t have proper tracking in place, it’s going to get messy fast.
That’s why I find @deradnet so interesting. It’s a decentralized ADS-B system that helps track aircraft in real time, even in places where coverage is usually weak or non-existent.
What I really like is that anyone can help power this network from home. It’s community-driven, and that’s what makes it scalable.
As air taxis and autonomous drones become part of daily life, I think Derad’s role will only get more important.
