CertiK Becomes a Key Corporate Partner in Hong Kong to Support the Development of Web3 Security
The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government recently held the "Key Enterprise Signing Ceremony", during which CertiK, a leading company in the Web3 security field, officially became one of Hong Kong's key enterprise partners. Dr. Li Kang, the company's Chief Technology Officer, represented CertiK at the signing ceremony, signing a cooperation agreement with the Hong Kong SAR government along with 17 other enterprises from the high-tech sector.
The signing ceremony attracted over 200 representatives from various sectors, including key enterprises, chambers of commerce, research institutions, universities, financial and professional service companies, as well as relevant government departments. A total of 18 enterprises joined the ranks of key enterprises, covering multiple fields such as advanced manufacturing, new energy technology, artificial intelligence and data science, financial technology, and life and health technology. As the only company focused on Web3 security, CertiK, with its professional experience and technical advantages in blockchain security, has become one of the important forces in promoting the construction of Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology center.
After the signing ceremony, Dr. Li Kang stated: "Hong Kong has world-class financial and technological talent resources and maintains close ties with the international community. In recent years, the SAR government has actively promoted the development of Web 3.0, launching multiple policy frameworks for virtual assets and implementing a licensing system for virtual asset service providers. At the same time, institutions such as Cyberport also provide funding and resource support for startups, further promoting the development of the Web 3.0 ecosystem. Our goal is to set industry standards for compliant auditing of virtual assets and contribute to the development of related industries, thereby enhancing Hong Kong's global competitiveness."
Government authorities have stated that they will collaborate with other agencies to provide comprehensive services to key enterprises, including CertiK, to accelerate their business establishment in Hong Kong and promote the continuous growth of the innovative technology industry. CertiK plans to leverage Hong Kong's geographical advantages and policy support to deepen cooperation with local research institutions and enterprises, contributing to the diversified development of Hong Kong's economy.
CertiK was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in New York, USA. It is a technology company focused on Web3 security. The company is committed to supporting the long-term development strategy of Web3 enterprises and ecosystems through a full-cycle of products and services. In recent years, CertiK has rapidly developed globally, serving over 4,900 enterprise clients and protecting digital assets valued at over $530 billion.
CertiK has a strong foundation of cooperation with Hong Kong. The company's co-founder Professor Gu Ronghui and Chief Technology Officer Dr. Li Kang are both members of the Hong Kong Web3 Development Task Force, actively participating in the construction of the Hong Kong Web3 ecosystem. In addition, CertiK has collaborated with Cyberport Hong Kong to launch Web3 security training courses and has made recommendations on stablecoin regulation, which have been adopted by the Hong Kong authorities. Becoming a key business partner in Hong Kong will further consolidate CertiK's strategic position in the Asia-Pacific region and support Hong Kong's innovative development in the fintech and blockchain fields.
