The Baltic Dry Index pumped again on Tuesday, mainly driven by the strong performance of Capesize vessels. The Baltic Dry Index pumped 28 points or 1.5% to 1947 points, the highest level since July 15. The Capesize Index pumped 101 points or 3.1% to 3349 points. Capesize vessels' daily profit pumped $839 to $27774. The Panamax Index dropped 5 points to 1300 points, reaching the lowest level in over a year. Panamax vessels' daily profit dropped by $45 to $11703. The Supramax Index fell by 9 points to 1280 points.
