On August 13, Jin Shi Data News, ZEW Chairman Achim Wambach said that Germany's economic prospects are collapsing. In this survey, we observed the largest decline in economic expectations in the past two years. Economic expectations in the euro zone, the United States, and other countries have also significantly deteriorated. Therefore, the expectations for Germany's export-intensive industries have particularly declined. Economic expectations are likely to still be affected by high uncertainty, which is caused by ambiguous monetary policy, disappointing business data in the United States, and increasing concerns about the escalation of the Middle East conflict. Recently, this uncertainty has been manifested in the volatility of international stock markets.
