Shanghai Stock Exchange: Adjusting the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect trading information disclosure mechanism from August 19th

On July 26th, Jinshi Data reported that the Shanghai Stock Exchange issued a notice that it has decided to adjust the information disclosure mechanism of the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect trading starting from August 19, 2024. After the close of each Shanghai Stock Connect trading day, the total turnover and total number of transactions, the total ETF turnover, the top ten active securities list and their turnover will be announced. The summary of the above data will be published on a monthly and annual basis. On the fifth Shanghai Stock Connect trading day of each quarter, the total amount of securities held by Shanghai Stock Connect investors for a single security at the end of the previous quarter will be announced. During the trading hours, when the remaining quota of the Hong Kong Stock Connect under the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect is more than 30%, it will display that the quota is sufficient; when the remaining quota is less than 30%, the daily quota balance of the Hong Kong Stock Connect will be announced in real-time. After the close of each Hong Kong Stock Connect trading day, the buy and sell turnover amounts and numbers, total turnover and total number of transactions, total ETF turnover, top ten active securities list and their buy and sell turnover amounts, total turnover will be announced, and the summary of the above data will be published on a monthly and annual basis. After the close of each Hong Kong Stock Connect trading day, the total number of securities held by Hong Kong Stock Connect investors for a single security will be announced.
