On July 19, Jins data showed that due to the increased Fluctuation in the price of photovoltaic modules, S&P Global Commodities' Platts, under S&P Global Commodities, has launched daily Spot market price assessments for photovoltaic modules in the United States, Asia, and Europe. S&P Global stated that since the beginning of 2023, the substantial Fluctuation in the price of solar modules has been caused by the combined effects of import tariffs, supply chain surplus, and Supply Chain costs, as well as the rise in demand. The assessment tool will track six different Spot prices for components, covering different geographic locations, megawatt numbers, and time periods. The price assessment reflects solar modules with an output power of 570-720W, TOPcon specifications, and 182-210 silicon wafer sizes, with prices displayed in cents per watt.
