Thailand's Acting Prime Minister: Confident that the Thailand-Cambodia border conflict will not escalate into a full-scale war.

Jin10 reported on July 25 that Thai Deputy Prime Minister Puttan expressed confidence that the armed conflict at the Thailand-Cambodia border will not escalate into a full-scale war between the two countries. Puttan also stated that Thailand is still willing to engage in dialogue with Cambodia. However, he emphasized that any dialogue must be predicated on Cambodia first halting military actions—these military actions are what triggered the conflict.
