On April 18, local time, the Colombian government said that it would suspend the ceasefire agreement with "Caraca", a branch of the former largest rebel "Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia" (hereinafter referred to as "FARC"), but this move does not mean the interruption or end of the peace negotiation process. The ceasefire agreement between the Government of Colombia and the former armed forces branch "Caraca" has been extended several times, the most recent of which ended on 15 April.
