Germany attempts to expel EU citizens participating in pro-Palestinian protests.
On April 2, Jin10 reported that German immigration authorities ordered three EU citizens and one US citizen to leave Germany due to their involvement in protests against Israel's attacks on Gaza, after being accused of supporting anti-Semitism and terrorism. Among the four activists, two are from Ireland, one from Poland, and one from the United States. They claim that officials in the German capital are "weaponizing immigration law" and that they have been told they must leave by April 21, or face deportation on charges such as shouting pro-Palestinian slogans.
