Haedal Protocol: The Rise of a New Leader in Sui Ecosystem Liquid Staking
The New Star of Liquid Staking in the Sui Ecosystem: Haedal Protocol
The liquid staking market of the Sui network is still in its early development stage, with the total value of staked SUI currently around $307 million, of which only 2% is liquid. In comparison, the liquid staking ratios of the Solana and Ethereum networks stand at 10.1% and 30.5%, respectively. Against this backdrop, the Haedal staking protocol, with its total locked value of $120 million (TVL), is expected to become a leader in liquid staking within the Sui ecosystem.
One of the main challenges faced by the Sui network is its relatively low staking annual yield, around 2.5%, while the yields for Solana and Ethereum are 7-8% and 3-4%, respectively. Haedal has successfully improved the staking performance of the Sui network through innovative technical solutions, outperforming other liquid staking (LSD) protocols.
Haedal adopts a dynamic validator selection mechanism, monitoring the status of all network validation nodes to select the node with the highest annualized yield of (APR) during staking, while prioritizing the withdrawal of funds from nodes with lower APR when unstaking. This strategy effectively ensures a high yield for liquid staking tokens.
In addition, Haedal has launched the innovative Hae3 framework, which includes three main components: HMM, HaeVault, and HaeDAO. Among them, HMM (Haedal Market Maker) optimizes the liquidity of various decentralized exchanges (DEX) on the Sui blockchain by combining oracle pricing and real-time market data. From February to March, the trading volume increased from $59.13 million to $284.15 million, generating $236,000 in fees. 50% of these earnings are used for user incentives, raising the annualized yield of haSUI from 2.58% to 3.21%.
HaeVault simplifies the liquidity provision process for users, allowing them to easily deposit funds and earn higher returns. Taking the SUI-USDC trading pair as an example, HaeVault has achieved a net annualized return of up to 938%, far surpassing other platforms.
The Hae3 framework is deeply integrated into the Sui DeFi ecosystem, with a total locked value exceeding $1 billion. The HMM protocol captures DEX transaction fee revenues, HaeVault optimizes the returns for liquidity providers, and HaeDAO grants users governance decision-making power. This comprehensive ecological layout gives Haedal a significant advantage in yield optimization.
The application scenarios of HAEDAL tokens further enhance their value. Users can lock them as veToken to participate in HaeDAO governance or use them to increase the annual yield of the treasury. Additionally, potential airdrop opportunities add extra appeal.
Haedal's core metrics are performing strongly: TVL reached $117.36 million, daily active wallets exceeded 44,000, and the number of holders reached 794,000. In terms of key indicators such as trading volume, annualized return rate, and holder size, Haedal is currently in a leading position.
The support from several well-known venture capital institutions further highlights the development potential of Haedal. With the continuous expansion of the Sui ecosystem, Haedal, with its innovative products and solid fundamentals, is expected to occupy an important position in the liquid staking field and become an industry leader.
