Previously, Ethereum L2 network Linea announced that it has launched the first phase of Volt on Linea Surge, aiming to promote the development of the ecosystem by attracting more users and increasing TVL on the network. Linea Surge is a points-driven program, where users can earn LXP-L tokens by holding assets on Linea and deploying them to DeFi protocols on the network. This plan will run for 6 cycles (6 months) or until TVL reaches 3 billion US dollars. The allocation of LXP-L will decrease by 10% each cycle, with additional benefits for early users. Additionally, the liquidity deployed by users must be greater than or equal to $24 in a single protocol to be eligible for points calculation.
